Anderson to meet Murray at Rogers Cup



South African Kevin Anderson set up a second-round meeting with Andy Murray at the Rogers Cup in Montreal after thrashing Spain's Pablo Andujar in direct sets. The 6ft 8ins Anderson required just over one and a half hours to defeat his challenger 6-4 6-4. Anderson, ranked 35 in the world, saved four out of five break points against him and broke Andujar three times.

Switzerland's 14th seed Stanislas Wawrinka sustained his good record against Argentina's David Nalbandian as the world number 17 earned a 6-1 6-4 victory in one hour and nine minutes. Former world No.1 Juan Carlos Ferrero went down 3-6 6-1 7-5 to Latvian wild card Ernests Gulbis while big-serving Ivo Karlovic was a 6-7 (7-2) 6-3 7-6 (7-5) winner over Juan Monaco.
