Having recorded their maiden win against the Deccan Chargers this season, the Kolkata Knight Riders will be boosted by the arrival of their Australian recruits on Thursday. The Gautam Gambhir-led team, which reached Jaipur on Wednesday evening, takes on the Rajasthan Royals in their next commitment on Friday.
Fast bowlers Brett Lee and James Pattinson, wicketkeeper Brad Haddin, along with Bangladesh captain and left-arm spinner Shakib-al Hasan will be joining the team on the eve of the match. With their arrival, Gambhir will have a full strength side at his disposal. The Australia-Bangladesh three-match one-day series completed on Thursday with the Michael Clarke-led side winning 3-0.
The Knights will play three home matches next week against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, the Kochi Tuskers on Wednesday and the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday.
